Project: Coeur d'Alene Lake

| Challenge: Recent increases in recreational wave runner use on Lake Coeur d'Alene have created shoreline erosion problems in previously undisturbed coves. On this site over six feet of shoreline was lost over a period of two summers. |

| Solution: The erosion prone area was re-graded and prepared for wetland sod installation which occurred one month prior summer recreation use to allow mats to "root out" and stabilize the bank. |
