Project: Butte Metro Storm Drain

| Challenge: Provide a natural erosion control solution for an urban storm water channel that could withstand severe precipitation events immediately upon installation and dramatically fluctuating (“flashy”) hydrology over the long term. |

| Solution: Approximately 6600 linear feet of Wetland Sod was installed, to stabilize the banks and provide an immediate natural aesthetic. The newly revegetated channel received runoff from a recorded 0.75 inch storm event just 10 days after installation and remained in tact. |
