Custom Grown Plugs
In some cases, seed or other starter material can be difficult to find and procure. This process can take several months depending on seed or plant availability. Another factor that can increase project timelines is the use of site-collected seed. After the seed is collected or procured, the seed may need 4+ months of stratification time, roughly 12 weeks of growing time, and 14 days to harden off from the greenhouse environment. Custom Grown Wetland Sod
North Fork Native Plants has experience growing many Facultative Wetland and obligate wetland species into our Wetland Sod product. When our existing inventory cannot fit your specific plant material needs, we can custom grow starter plants in our greenhouse to then use those to plant our coir mats with. We can custom grow from client provided seed or procure seed on the open market to meet your needs.
Custom Grown Biologs
Our Biologs are only available on a custom order basis. Biologs are similar to our other coir product, Wetland Sod. They are grown using a mix of facultative wetland and obligate wetland species.
